What is Sandbox?
Sandbox is a volunteer-based organization that is mostly decentralized and run by hubs. How to get involved?
The most important question you can ask when joining Sandbox is how to get involved and become an active member.
Here are some ideas of how to get involved 👇
Low hanging fruit
Respond to requests in the group - say hi to people, make recommendations, suggest others who they should speak to, celebrate acts or milestones of others
Medium
- Host a travelling Sandboxer - Attend an event every 1-2 months - Become a buddy to a new Sandboxer - Assess recruitment applications - written, interviews or WOWs
Higher
- Co-host an event (at your home or another’s) - Facilitate an event - Curate an event series (e.g. book club) - Update the live newsletter with Sandboxer news and share it every 2 weeks - Create a spreadsheet/shared doc to capture our recommendations - Interview hub members and capture their profiles in a shared deck - Help organise/clean the WhatsApp group (contacting old members) - Co-lead a hub retreat
Big Impact
- Design a Sandbox global initiative (e.g. Superhive, Fall in Love, Skillshare) - Host a retreat - Join the Summit team - Be on the board/governance council - Join a working group
